Scott Hedgepeth joined Axcelus Financial (formerly Lombard International) in November 2016 and serves as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Actuary. In his role Mr. Hedgepeth is responsible for managing and leading the financial initiatives of the company.

He also oversees the actuarial financial reporting and valuation, product development and pricing, reinsurance and M&A and serves as Appointed Actuary. He has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry including actuarial leadership roles at Transamerica (AEGON) and G.E. Capital. He received his B.A. in Mathematics from Temple University and is a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries as well as a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
