Background
Axcelus: Advanced Business Acceleration for Entrepreneurs, was founded by Paul Lemberg, the man who practically invented the discipline of business coaching back in 1992. Paul has made a life study of business owners and entrepreneurial behavior, and has used his research to successfully help business owners achieve tremendous results. Nothing in the Axcelus system is theoretical or academic; every single aspect of the system has been derived from our work with owners and managers, and every process has been field-tested and proven to be effective. So effective, in fact, that over the years, Paul's personal clients have earned more than $240,000,000 in increased profits and proceeds realized from the sales of their companies.
Paul began his entrepreneurial career co-launching Henco Research International, an international banking software company, in 1981. That company, started with $3,000 of credit card debt, was sold for several million dollars in 1983. Next, he and his original partner co-founded Vertex Business Systems to serve the same industry. That company was later sold to WestDeutche Landesbank in 1988. Paul then spent a number of years working in market research and corporate strategy advising large technology companies like IBM, Anderson Consulting, EDS, Texas Instruments, and others. In 1992 Paul began mentoring and coaching individual professionals and entrepreneurs, transforming the existing discipline known as executive coaching into business coaching .
After working closely with more than a hundred companies in dozens of industries, Paul began thinking about how to be able to bring his structured and systematic approach to business growth to a much wider group of business owners. This is not an easy question to answer - after all it had never been done before.

While there are many consulting companies that offer business advice, most of these take a wild and wooly approach.
